Course Description | “Preventing Teacher Burnout is an Erasmus+ Ka1 course designed to help educators recognize the signs of burnout and develop practical strategies to manage stress and increase job satisfaction. The course explores the complex relationship between occupational stress and burnout and provides participants with an understanding of the factors that contribute to burnout, including workload, job demands, and interpersonal dynamics. Through a combination of research-based strategies and practical tools, participants will learn how to identify and manage stress triggers, cultivate resilience, and establish healthy habits that promote work-life balance. They will also have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences and explore strategies to prevent burnout and increase job satisfaction. At the end of this course, teachers will have gained valuable insights and practical tools to help them manage occupational stress and prevent burnout, ultimately enabling them to be more effective and engaged educators. |
Methodologies Of The Course | The course “Preventing Teacher Burnout employs a variety of methodologies to engage participants and facilitate their learning. 1. Lectures: Participants will receive lectures that cover the theory, research, and practical strategies related to occupational stress and burnout prevention. 2. Case studies: Participants will be presented with case studies of teachers who have experienced burnout, and will be asked to reflect on the factors that led to their burnout and the strategies that could have prevented it. 3. Interactive discussions: Participants will engage in interactive discussions to share their experiences and insights related to stress and burnout prevention. 4. Reflection and self-assessment: Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own experiences and assess their own levels of stress and burnout.
