English Language For All Teachers

Course Description

Sending partners: Educational organizations involved in formal, non-formal, and informal learning: schools, adult training centres, resource centres, and other relevant organizations active in the adult education field established in Erasmus+ program countries.

Profile of the participants: The participants are teachers active in the sending organization interested in developing their English level and skills and increasing their motivation to study and use English in lessons.  They must be interested in other cultures and in developing the institution’s European dimension.

Argument: Concerning a teacher’s work, it is a teacher’s job to educate their students so they may better succeed in their future endeavours, and English is critical to that. Technology is also a big part of education nowadays and since half of the internet is in English it would be beneficial to understand it. These are not the only reasons, teachers’ extracurriculars may include travelling, playing sports, and attending courses or conferences. This course will include a brief history of how English came to the fore, why English is still so prominent now and why teachers should learn it.
