Course Description
Fostering Intercultural Competence: Inclusive Strategies for Multicultural and Student Integration is a professional development course designed for teachers, trainers, school leaders, and educational professionals who work in increasingly diverse and multicultural learning environments.
Today’s classrooms bring together students from different cultural, linguistic, ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. While diversity enriches learning communities, it also presents challenges related to communication, belonging, inclusion, equity, and student integration.
This course provides participants with practical strategies to develop intercultural competence and promote successful integration of students from diverse backgrounds through cultural awareness, intercultural communication, inclusive classroom practices, anti-bias approaches, conflict prevention and social cohesion.
Methodology
This course is based on experiential learning, intercultural dialogue, collaborative learning, reflective practice, case-study analysis, role-playing activities, problem-solving exercises, peer learning, inclusive education approaches, and practical classroom applications.
Participants will engage in intercultural simulations, collaborative workshops, cultural reflection activities, group discussions, classroom scenario analysis, and action-planning exercises. The course promotes active participation, self-reflection, international exchange, and the sharing of good practices.
