Course Description
Gamification has become one of the most effective approaches for increasing student engagement, motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. By integrating game elements into educational environments, teachers can transform traditional lessons into dynamic learning experiences that encourage collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and active participation.
This course is designed for teachers, trainers, and educational professionals who want to understand the principles of gamification and learn how to apply game-based strategies effectively in their classrooms. Participants will explore how game mechanics, digital tools, educational platforms, storytelling, challenges, rewards, and interactive activities can enhance learning while supporting curriculum objectives.
Through practical workshops, collaborative activities, hands-on design tasks, and real classroom examples, participants will develop the skills needed to create motivating learning environments that encourage student participation and foster 21st-century competencies.
Methodology
The course combines experiential learning, gamification design workshops, collaborative learning, project-based activities, ICT integration, reflective practice, case studies, peer learning, and practical classroom simulations. Participants will actively design, test, evaluate, and improve gamified learning activities throughout the course.
