Course Description

This course is for teachers and trainers interested in growing a creative and intercultural environment in their schools and institutions, with or without previous experience, who are willing to develop professionally through the course. This course will allow teachers and trainers to explore the different ways in which ICT, pedagogy, and didactics can be applied to create a creative and intercultural environment

Furthermore, this course is for teachers who want to use digital tools in their classrooms in a meaningful, creative, and inspiring way. Special attention will be paid to the development of transversal skills, which are essential in today’s learning and working environment. The participants will explore different ways of teaching that work best in classrooms as well as how to integrate technology into their teaching practice. They will also analyze different innovative methods and strategies that encourage students to become active learners.

Methodologies Of The Course

Most of the educational approaches are inspired by constructivist pedagogy. The course has a holistic approach and uses various tools during different activities.

Objectives

  • to develop ICT competencies in applying technology in different educational settings in order to improve the motivation of the students
  • to share best practices and transfer knowledge and methods between different cultural zones and different learner ages
  • to develop tools (a digital game, an E-portfolio, digital stories) about ways of applying technology in education for different age groups
  • to enable participants to find at least 5 activities and techniques for their own teaching context in order to improve the motivation of their students
  • to increase participants’ confidence in using ICT tools
  • to promote European cooperation in the field of education within the framework of the Erasmus+ program by partnership building
