Course Description
Mental Health & Well-Being in Schools is a professional development course designed for teachers, school leaders, counselors, and educational staff who want to promote positive mental health and emotional well-being within educational environments.
As schools increasingly recognize the connection between emotional well-being and academic success, educators play a vital role in supporting students’ mental health, resilience, and personal development.
Participants will explore common mental health challenges affecting students, including anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and social challenges.
Methodology
This course is based on experiential learning, collaborative learning, reflective practice, case-study analysis, role-playing activities, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, social-emotional learning practices, and practical classroom applications.
Participants will engage in real-life school scenarios, interactive workshops, peer-learning activities, communication simulations, and collaborative planning exercises.
