Course Description

Creating inclusive learning environments and reducing early school leaving are among the most important priorities for schools across Europe. Students who feel valued, supported, and engaged are more likely to participate actively in learning, achieve academic success, and remain connected to education throughout their school journey.

This course is designed for teachers, school leaders, and educational professionals who want to strengthen their ability to support diverse learners, prevent exclusion, and reduce the risk of early school leaving.

Through collaborative workshops, case studies, simulations, intercultural activities, digital tools, cooperative learning techniques, and action-planning exercises, participants will gain practical approaches for creating inclusive educational environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive and remain engaged in education.

Methodology

The course follows an experiential and participant-centred methodology combining cooperative learning, inquiry-based learning, case study analysis, non-formal education methods, intercultural learning, reflective practice, classroom simulations, problem-solving workshops, collaborative planning activities, and peer learning.

Participants will work on real educational challenges and develop practical solutions for their own school contexts.
