Course Description

Nature’s Inspiration: Enriching Kindergarten Teaching is a professional development course designed for kindergarten and early childhood educators who wish to create meaningful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences through nature-based education.

Young children learn best when they actively explore, discover, and interact with the world around them. Nature offers endless opportunities to stimulate curiosity, creativity, communication, problem-solving, physical development, and emotional well-being.

Participants will explore outdoor pedagogy, nature-based learning approaches, sensory exploration, environmental awareness, outdoor play, eco-literacy, inquiry-based learning, and sustainability education.

Methodology

This course is based on experiential learning, outdoor learning, inquiry-based learning, play-based learning, collaborative learning, reflective practice, project-based learning, sensory exploration, creative expression activities, and practical classroom applications.

Participants will engage in nature observations, outdoor workshops, collaborative planning activities, environmental exploration projects, sensory learning experiences, and group discussions.
