Course Description

Digital technologies have transformed education, communication, and social interaction, creating new opportunities for learning and collaboration. At the same time, students face increasing challenges related to online safety, digital well-being, cyberbullying, misinformation, privacy, and responsible technology use. Teachers play a crucial role in helping students navigate digital environments safely, ethically, and responsibly.

This course is designed for teachers, school leaders, and educational professionals who wish to strengthen their competencies in online safety, digital citizenship, and cyberbullying prevention. Participants will explore current digital risks, develop strategies for promoting responsible online behaviour, learn how to identify and address cyberbullying incidents, and create safe digital learning environments that support student well-being and participation.

Through practical workshops, case studies, simulations, collaborative activities, and action-planning exercises, participants will gain the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to foster positive digital cultures and support students in becoming responsible and resilient digital citizens.
