Course Description
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Strategies for Teachers is a professional development course designed to help teachers create supportive, inclusive, and emotionally healthy learning environments that foster both academic achievement and student well-being.
Participants will explore key areas of social-emotional learning, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, empathy, communication, responsible decision-making, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.
Through practical workshops, collaborative activities, reflection sessions, and real classroom examples, participants will gain the confidence and skills needed to promote social-emotional development.
Methodology
This course is based on experiential learning, collaborative learning, reflective practice, case-study analysis, role-playing activities, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, mindfulness practices, and practical classroom applications.
The training promotes active participation, peer learning, self-reflection, and the exchange of good practices among teachers from different countries.
