Course Description

Teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, but it can also be one of the most demanding. Increasing workloads, administrative responsibilities, classroom challenges, changing educational expectations, and the need to support diverse learners can contribute to stress, emotional exhaustion, and professional burnout. Teacher well-being is essential not only for personal health but also for effective teaching, student success, and positive school environments.

This course is designed for teachers, school leaders, and educational professionals who wish to strengthen their resilience, improve their well-being, and develop practical strategies for preventing burnout. Participants will explore the causes and symptoms of occupational stress, understand the factors that contribute to teacher burnout, and learn evidence-based techniques for stress management, emotional regulation, self-care, and work-life balance.

Through practical workshops, reflective activities, collaborative learning, and action-planning exercises, participants will gain the tools needed to maintain motivation, increase job satisfaction, and create sustainable professional practices that support long-term well-being and effectiveness.

Methodology

The course follows a practical and reflective learning approach that combines research-based knowledge with real-world application. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, case study analysis, self-assessment activities, mindfulness practices, collaborative discussions, role-playing exercises, reflective journaling, peer-learning activities, and action-planning sessions. The methodology promotes self-awareness, professional reflection, collaboration, and the development of sustainable well-being strategies that can be applied immediately in professional and personal contexts.
