Course Description

The Eco-School Blueprint: Integrating Sustainability and Environmental Literacy Across Curricula is a professional development course designed for teachers, school leaders, trainers, and educational professionals who wish to embed sustainability principles into teaching, learning, and whole-school development.

As climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and environmental challenges increasingly affect communities worldwide, schools play a vital role in preparing students to become informed, responsible, and active global citizens.

Participants will explore key sustainability concepts, including climate action, circular economy, biodiversity, sustainable consumption, renewable energy, environmental citizenship, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Methodology

This course is based on experiential learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, outdoor education, inquiry-based learning, sustainability challenges, case-study analysis, reflective practice, community engagement activities, and interdisciplinary curriculum design.
