The Thinking Classroom: Integrating Critical Analysis and Creative Problem-Solving Across the Curriculum is a professional development course designed for teachers, trainers, school leaders, and educational professionals who want to strengthen students’ higher-order thinking skills and prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly complex world.
In today's rapidly changing society, students need more than content knowledge. They must be able to analyze information critically, evaluate evidence, solve complex problems, think creatively, collaborate effectively, and make informed decisions.
This course explores practical strategies for embedding critical thinking and creative problem-solving across all subject areas and educational levels through questioning techniques, inquiry-based learning, collaborative problem-solving, and real-world challenges.
Methodology
This course is based on inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning, experiential learning, collaborative learning, design thinking, reflective practice, case-study analysis, project-based learning, Socratic questioning, and creative problem-solving methodologies.
Participants will engage in practical workshops, thinking routines, collaborative investigations, problem-solving challenges, lesson design activities, classroom simulations, and peer-learning sessions.
