Designing Inclusive Learning Environments
A practical Erasmus+ course for teachers, school leaders and educational professionals who want to create inclusive learning environments that value diversity, promote equity and support every learner.

Course Description
Inclusive education is no longer limited to supporting students with disabilities or special educational needs. Today, it represents a broader commitment to ensuring that all learners, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, identities, cultures, languages, or personal circumstances, have equal opportunities to participate, learn, and succeed.
This course is designed for teachers, school leaders, and educational professionals who wish to strengthen their capacity to create inclusive learning environments that value diversity, promote equity, and support the success of every student. Participants will explore contemporary approaches to inclusive education, examine barriers to participation and learning, and develop practical strategies for designing accessible, engaging, and supportive classroom environments.
Through collaborative workshops, case studies, simulations, inclusive lesson design activities, and practical classroom applications, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to foster belonging, participation, and achievement for all learners.
Methodology
The course follows an active, collaborative, and experiential learning approach that combines inclusive pedagogy, cooperative learning, inquiry-based learning, case study analysis, reflective practice, collaborative problem-solving, role-playing, classroom simulations, and lesson design workshops.
